The internet has given us some very good things.  From email to Matt Jones, there are a number of things that this gift from Al Gore has provided for us and enriched our lives.  But, as it is with all good things, there are some not so good things that came along with this internet explosion…..including the message board rumors.   With the growth of all of the UK related websites, it’s given a voice to the fans and, sometimes, not every thing posted can be that positive.  From Tubby to Gillispie, there have been some awful rumors posted online.

But, every once in a while, someone comes along and posts something that, regardless of it’s validity, can put a smile on your face and make the message board seem so great once again.  Ladies and gentleman, without further ado, I give you something posted over on Cats Pause this afternoon:

My little sister calls today and trys to tell me that she sees John Hood doing the “Stanky Leg” by the pool in Panama City Beach. Im not sure what a “Stanky Leg” is but I hope it doesn’t hurt his jumper.

First of all, I’m not trying to crack on the guy that posted this (I think it’s awesome) or Jon Hood for allegedly doing the Stanky Legg (I’ve done it once or twenty times in my life), I am just appreciative of the times we’re living in.  Not only is this an age where a man can be recognized for the content of his character and the quality of his stanky legg, but it’s also an era where people of all ages and all walks of life can come together and say “I don’t know what a stanky leg is but I hope it doesn’t hurt his jumper” and find it as totally acceptable conversation.  These are good times, folks.  Soak it all in.
