Friday After Christmas Notes

by @ 11:20 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

 vsy

I hope everyone out there had as great a Christmas as I did, with the official KSR mom, hanging out in the city of Middlesboro. I cant tell you how refreshing it was to spend an entire day away from the legal/blog world and enjoying some good family rest and relaxation. But just like the prodigal son, we must return and we are back to our regular deal around these parts. So a couple of updates on situations going into the big weekend…..

(1) It looks as if I missed Nerd Fight 2008: The Christmas Edition, and I hear that it was quite the scene around these parts on Christmas Day. But alas, I missed the fun, all of which apparently stemmed from a report that there will be Super Secret Top News coming out this week of a potential 2009 transfer to Big Blue land. This report apparently stems from another site and a form of it was mentioned by Dave Kersey, a longtime UK message board poster. The report from the site apparently is that the Cats are expecting a BIG 2009 transfer of huge proportions, potentially within the next few days (or at least it was said so in a comment here), and the name is not Beas Hamga or Jai Lucas. No word has been given (at least that I have been told) as to who the person is, but the news is apparently huge and is of such magnitude that you must immediately go hand someone else some money so they can not tell you the name as well.

Which brings me to the question of whether there is a big transfer. Generally speaking, I am ALWAYS skeptical of promises of BIG news without actual names on them. It generally is a win-win for the news provider….if they dont come, you just say “things changed”, if anything big happens, you take credit for it…..whether it ended up being the case or not. Now in Dave Kersey’s case (who has some good info from time to time), I like the guy and thus think this is a situation worth watching. I took a quick glance around college basketball tonight and didnt read of any transfer of a guy who was a Top 50 recruit being announced, except Jeff Withey, who is going to Kansas. Thus there isnt even really a name to speculate about. One cant very well refute a rumor of a transfer, when at this point, the whole entire college basketball roster is still a candidate. But it is something to at least keep in the corner of your mind. If a name is whispered, we will let you know. If not, we will make fun of all parties involved.

(2): Now onto a rumor with a name, the case of Beas Hamga. As I wrote on here on Christmas, the Cats have been looking into bringing Hamga as a potential transfer here for second semester next year. I am told that UK is one of a few schools courting Hamga and that at this point, there is no obvious leader. The Cats likely came in second on the initial Hamga recruiting derby, so you have to think their chances are high. I admit that I am surprised of UK’s interest, especially with the loaded frontcourt the Cats are looking at next year. Add to that rumors of Hamga’s bad attitude and it would be a bit of a surprise if Beas ends up a Cat. But the possibility is apparently there.

(3): Now what about everyone’s favorite guy Jai Lucas? Lucas told yet another website (this time from TCU) that he had three finalists, and once again Kentucky was one of the named participants. Lucas has told me on multiple occasions that UK has expressed interest and has offered him the chance to come. And it is clear that he likes UK as well. However I admit that I am having a hard time gaugeing this situation right now. Whether UK is going after Lucas with full throttle seems to be an open question. What we do know is that Jai wants to have a decision by the first of the year. I am scheduled to talk to him on Saturday, and by that point, more should be known.

(4): Finally, Jerry Meyer of Rivals.com says UK will pursue Demarcus Cousins, who has recently reopened his recruitment after decommitting from UAB. Cousins is one of the best in America. If the Cats truly get involved with him, he could help produce one of THE top recruiting classes in recent UK history. Right now the process is early, but unlike some of the other guys mentioned, Cousins could be a difference maker.

I will be spending all day Friday and most of Saturday at the Lexington Catholic Holiday Tournament. It is one of my favorite events of the year and this marks about my 12th straight trip. This year there are games for UK fans to follow with Vee Sanford and Catholic playing at 6, Jon Hood at 7:30 and Vinny Zollo at 9 pm. If you get a chance, come see them and say hello to the KSR crew. Hunter Campbell will be manning the ship here on Friday and expect a full day of activities and any breaking news as it happens. We got Florida Atlantic on Saturday and the announcement of a new KSR feature and site design coming on Monday. Lots of good stuff, so stay tuned……

I hear that Samardo Samuels is leaving da Ville for Lexington! Is today the 1st of April?

  2. steppingonaminu Says:

Surely the prophet has spoken and Legion will return.

  3. Phili5 Says:

Getting Cousins would be unfair to the rest of the NCAA!

  4. meeksistheman Says:

If UK got Cousins the NCAA would pass a new rule where a team can have no more than 3 possible future NBA big men on a roster. Cousins, Orton, Patterson, Pilgrim, and even Harrelson has a chance - would be to many under the NCAA “new rule”

  5. ukfan2345 Says:

If Cousins came to UK then Patterson would DEFINATELY go pro after this year.

  6. Miller Time Says:

MM: Go back to your own site. Loser!!

  7. Phili5 Says:

6)Why would patterson definitely go pro when he has the chance to be part of one of the best potential team in recent memory. Plus he’ll get hyped up like Hansbrough.

  8. Miller Time Says:

BCG is building a dynasty!! Patterson will stay for 4 years.

  9. ukfan2345 Says:

I hope he stays just think about it- How would 3 big-time Bigs start on the same team…it would be an amazing frontcourt but Patterson is definately a lottery pick after this year. If I was him I would go pro too and make the big-time bucks. Plus, he has way more pro potential than Hansbrough. It would obviously be a championship-caliber frontcourt though.

  10. davekersey Says:

MJ, you mention my name in your blog but the information you associate with my name is a compilation of other posts, I suppose, I didn’t read all the posts. I didn’t say that the news would be someone other than either Hamga or Lucas, nor did I say it would be a transfer. Like me, however, you do give out good information from time to time.

  11. Mr. Bob Dobalina Says:

#6 you honestly think Patterson as a jr would be challenged for pt by a freshman center who likes to hang out on the perimeter and jack up 3s?

  12. Miller Time Says:

MM: Why do you worry about other sites when you have your own? You must be hurting for $$ in this tough economy. Go ahead and get your rocks off because I’m not going to nerd fight with a loser such as yourself.

  13. wordpress2323 Says:

patterson isn’t going anywhere. he’s too undersized to play power forward/center in the nba at this point. he will need another year or so with more national buzz to get selected as a lottery pick. just look at beasley’s struggles this year in miami- he’s probably even a few inches taller.

  14. ukfan2345 Says:

Daniel Orton would not do that in the Gillispie high-low offense. Obviously Patterson is better than the other two. My belief is that Cousins wants to go wherever he can be the primary big-man down low. Look at his previous committment to UAB. Just be realistic, do you really believe 3 NBA ready PF/C’s can coexist together on the same roster? I just don’t see it happening, but if it does cohesively then that would be great! Just seems a little far-fetched to me.

  15. BillyClyde4President Says:

I heard the transfer is a big time center whose name is Mike Williams!!! LMAO

  16. El Borracho Says:

Merry Christmas from the HG Halftime Report

    Go Cats

  17. drizzlemizzle Says:

isn’t it pointless to have 37 studs in the front court when your back court can’t dribble left handed??

  18. FartFaggard Says:

This is ridiculous! Only I’m allowed to break news, only I have good news! Why would you get your news here for free when you can pay for it on my site?

    ff

  19. BluesMan Says:

I think we could use another solid post prospect for next season, because when Patterson leaves there won’t be anyone who has experience at being THE MAN at that position. Patterson has made the other front court position a lot easier simply because of the attention he receives from opposing defenses. They’ll need competition for playing time and a wide range of options in case some of our yet-unproven big men struggle.

As for point guard… I don’t know. I’m still optimistic that Liggins will come around, and Galloway is starting to play well, but there’s no steady hand at the position. Jai Lucas was not impressive at Florida, but maybe he would thrive here.

But, what the hell do I know. Clyde knows what he’s doing.

  20. bleedingblue Says:

Fart Faggard that was funny! What a name.

Fart Faggard do you charge for your posts as well? Maybe you can accept my christmas presents as payment for your excellent insight and insults! You got some more pics of cancelled check stubs? lol

  21. Mr. Bob Dobalina Says:

#18 aka Matt Jones….or one of his subordinates..

  22. LigginsLovesSAT Says:

MM is a tool. Middle-aged man chasing high-school boys around….curious? But love the Zach Morris hair, that goes over well with getting the info from the girlfriends.

  23. MonstaMash93 Says:

Who knows how Orton will turn out, but I don’t expect a Patt type fresh year. It’s a little premature to say he is NBA ready. So if Pat leaves next season we will have Orton, Stevenson(last season), Harrelson(not a contender if he is our primary option) Stewart(improving), Pilgram(hope not, but he may not be the great force it seems a lot of folks think) So I think we could definately make room for Cousins.

  24. Pepete2 Says:

Matt did you ever think the double secret huge transfer is Lucas?!

  25. FartFaggard Says:

I like to tell people I have big news that I’m going to break in a few days so people will sign up at my site and pay me. Then in a few days when I’ve racked up a few new stupid, i mean smart, members, I’ll tell everyone the big news… I WAS FINALLY CIRCUMCISED!

    ff

  26. adaircam4 Says:

Maggard just sent an email out detailing MJ’s incorrect statements..I feel a nerd fight of epic porportions between KSR and TBK coming very soon..this will be fun!

  27. Jimi40 Says:

Could the mysteryman be this guy?
    http://www.straitpinkie.com/sports/cats/possible-transfer-to-uk/

  28. ConcreteCat Says:

    Cousins, Cousins, Cousins!!!!

    4. Funny but that maybe a complaint filed by Tubby and the NABC (Not Allowing Billy Clyde).

  29. Blue_Lawlz Says:

Why would anyone sign up for Marc Maggard’s site? He *MIGHT* get real, legitimate recruiting news out a day earlier than KSR or the general outlet, but that’s not the norm. Why would you PAY for that?

Marc Maggard is a scumbag. Lines like these is why I read this blog, Matt: “the news is apparently huge and is of such magnitude that you must immediately go hand someone else some money so they can not tell you the name as well.”

Thanks KSR, not only do I get great information here without the promises of omfgamazingnewstunein@11bringmoney, but generally in a funny manner. Marc Maggard can suck it!

  30. I Am Not Chris Robbins Says:

old news is good news i guess. mole mole mole on KSR. TBK ownes this place.

  31. The Fake Fake Gimel Martinez Says:

I’m not sure who this Marc Maggard fellow is, but if he charges money for his site, I’m sure he must have good access to former players and a press pass to sit on the floor at UK games just like Matt…. Huh?…. He doesn’t? Oh, he must be a great writer then…. No?….Really? Sounds like it is well worth the money.

  32. The Fake Fake Gimel Martinez Says:

    32) If it never comes out to the public, is it really that big of news?

  33. The King Says:

In the words of Cartman. You just got F’d in the A.

  34. BgallowayUofK Says:

Yeah, I just checked my email and got the nerd war mail…I Can’t wait to see the war this brings.

  35. SlickRick48 Says:

Guys, Christmas was just yesterday, let’s not fight.

  36. bosshogg24 Says:

Wordpress, Beasley is not several inches taller
than Patterson. He is one or two inches shorter!

  37. The King Says:

Will someone please post the letter he sent out. I would love to read the email by MM

  38. the ghost of Bill Hicks Says:

Is the transfer Derrick Character to complete the trade for Marvin Stone?

  39. SlickRick48 Says:

Free sites are the future. Information cannot be supressed. Catch the wave.

  40. The Fake Fake Gimel Martinez Says:

    37) Marc is the one that comes over here and posts in the comments. No one forces him to do that.

And whether you want to admit it or not, Matt has really good access to the program. Do you really think that 90% of his information comes from Marc?

  41. The Fake Fake Gimel Martinez Says:

My comment was directed at #41, not #37.

  42. SlickRick48 Says:

You’re pathetic if you just keep pasting the same comment that gets deleted.

  43. Joshoeuh Says:

You shouldn’t delete posts that disagree. It’s a shame that you feel you have to do so.

  44. Joshoeuh Says:

Well, Fake Fake Gimel… Nobody forces Matt to post information that he knows has been taken from Marc’s site, yet he does. Should Marc ignore that fact?

  45. SlickRick48 Says:

Keep fighting the good fight Joshoeuh, I think you’re very close to changing everyone’s mind.

  46. SlickRick48 Says:

    No one owns information.

  47. Joshoeuh Says:

I’m not trying to change your mind. I am just looking for justification, which you seem to not be able to provide.

  48. The Fake Fake Gimel Martinez Says:

    45) Because its the same info, is it possible that it didn’t from Marc’s site? Is it possible that Marc Maggard isn’t the sole bearer of all information that is UK? Is it possible that maybe Matt and Marc share some of the same sources? I guess this is all just too outrageous.

  49. SlickRick48 Says:

Justification for what? Is this whole fit just about recognition?

  50. Joshoeuh Says:

OK. No one owns information. That’s a tired argument, but because I will accept it as if it were valid because we could go all day otherwise. You win that round.

So then the question becomes… Why is Marc wrong because he is providing it? Professional sports players are doing what they love, and people just so happen to pay to see it. They may still choose to play if the money was not there, but if people are going to pay you, then isn’t that just smart business?

  51. SlickRick48 Says:

Marc isn’t wrong for doing it. He’s just a douchebag when he comes over here crying about Matt “stealing” his information that you just said can’t be stolen.

  52. Joshoeuh Says:

I am not having a “fit”, just looking for appeasement.

FFG, if you don’t think that Matt gets information from Marc’s site, then you must have a happy life. Ignorance truly is bliss.

  53. krebscalledmeagirl Says:

Does MArc cry to ESPN when they break the news on their site as well, claiming they stole it from him?

  54. HanOfTheBluegrass Says:

Joshoeuh, more of us might buy into the “Matt steals from MM” party line if it weren’t for the fact that Matt knows and talks to a large number of recruits and players, and used to interview a large number of them on his radio show. That’s a fact, not some secret source or premium info we have to pay for to confirm.

While perhaps MM breaks stories from his sources, whatever they might be (and I still say he is the worst kind of person for using “off the record” comments by the parents of recruits in his attacks on Tipton), it’s not that hard for Matt to hear about it, and then make a call to check if it holds water.

MM and his brigade typically come here and post that Matt just steals it and never checks any of it. If he really doesn’t call any of the many people he knows, ever, then yes, he’s stupid. But again, the arrogant, whiny manner in which people accuse Matt of these things usually serves to make Matt seem all that more reliable, not the other way around.

  55. SlickRick48 Says:

You cannot steal what is not owned.

  56. SlickRick48 Says:

Appeasement? What do you want, the Rhineland?

  57. Joshoeuh Says:

Thanks for the response, Han. That’s all I’m looking for.

  58. SlickRick48 Says:

Alcace and Loraine are nice this time of year too.

  59. HanOfTheBluegrass Says:

By the way, Matt, Dave has posted at TCP that he did not explicitly say the news doesn’t concern Hamga or Lucas, nor did he say it was an incoming transfer.

Now his denial reads the same way as many of MM denials and backpedals, where he won’t confirm anything unless you subscribe to his site, or until an announcement is made, but you might want to edit to represent his clarification.

He still claims it will be bigger news than the “week old” story of Hamga, though.

  60. Joshoeuh Says:

For the record, I have not used the word “stole” or “steal” in this thread.

  61. Joshoeuh Says:

Matt, if you are going to delete my posts, then you should at least tell me why. Your site has no rules for posting that I can find, so I can’t be breaking them. If there are rules, point them out to me and that will suffice.

You can reach me by email. I’ll wait.

  62. Joshoeuh Says:

And if it’s not Matt that is deleting them (just going by the moderated by: at the top) then my apologies. Whoever is doing it can reach me the same way.

  63. HanOfTheBluegrass Says:

    58) I just get sick of a lot of you people accusing Matt all the time. Specifically when I have challenged some of the “haters” to list a specific example or two where Matt could only have gotten his info from MM, or where they can confirm he did. I’ll admit Matt sometimes forgets to mention where new info came from (though he also doesn’t usually claim he broke the news, he just notes there’s a rumor around), but you can’t deny he has more connections than the average UK fan (excepting perhaps MM and his magical secret sources he can’t list unless he’s bashing Tipton), and it would not be hard for Matt to make a call or two. He often states that he’s called this recruit’s father or coach, or spoke to someone at the university, etc. So either he is wrecklessly lying (again, a very stupid and unlikely move for a sports journalist/radio personality and LAWYER), or he actually does check up on any rumors he hears.

Even if he hears it first at MM’s site, you can’t blame him for going out and checking it himself. I might have a little more sympathy for MM in these cases (not getting as much credit as he might) if it weren’t for his childish and unprofessional nerd fights online where he spends most of his time just trying to get people to subscribe to his oh so awesome site. I’ve never seen the folk who run TCP do anything like what he does, though I’ve heard they don’t like Matt much, either.

  64. The Fake Fake Gimel Martinez Says:

    53) If you don’t think that Matt has any inside access to the program or any sources, then you are definitely ignorant.

Listen, I like this site, so I’m going to defend it. I don’t know for sure whether he gets info from over there or not, I’ve never been to the site. But I do know that just because they both report the same story doesn’t necessarily mean that one got it from the other. Whatever info Marc posts on his site has to come from somewhere. I just want you to admit that Matt could, possibly, maybe be talking to the same, or similar, sources as Marc. Is that seriously too unfathomable?

  65. HanOfTheBluegrass Says:

Joshoeuh) If there’s no rules for posting, guess what, there’s no rules for deletion. Sorry, chief.

If they want, they can make it look like you’re saying “Purple Monkey Dishwasher”, and your only real recourse is to announce on other sites that you don’t come here anymore.

Matt and his admins typically delete stuff that is excessively insulting towards sensible people, and stuff that is excessively critical or insulting toward this site or its bloggers. Your stuff probably fell in there.

  66. Joshoeuh Says:

I know that Matt has his share of sources, I won’t discredit him for that.

I will also acknowledge that it is not unfathomable for Marc and Matt to have the same sources. I don’t know their sources, nor would I claim to. They may talk to the same exact people all the time. I can’t vouch either way.

My biggest gripe with Matt is the manner in which he posts information that obviously comes from Marc to those who reads what Marc has to say. You have said that you do not, so you will just need to humor me on this one. His posts appear designed to discredit Marc at every opportunity. I have been reading this blog for quite a while, much longer than I have known of Maggard. It was much better when Matt didn’t have the chip on his shoulder about Marc. Matt, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that when you are making calls to confirm or refute what Marc is saying, you are mostly trying to prove him wrong.

  67. Joshoeuh Says:

I wasn’t excessively critical, nor was I attempting to insult. Oh well, can’t win them all.

  68. SlickRick48 Says:

You were being a whiney b****. That’s what gets annoying.

  69. Matt Jones Says:

Looks like for the second straight day, I have missed all the fun! This will be my only comment on the subject. It strikes me as the height of arrogance to believe u are the only person who knows information. As many on here have said, I cover every UK game, have interviewed every player on the team and every recruit, am friends with numrous former players, ran the UK barnstorming tour and know many in the program. To think that out of all that would not come one morsel of info strikes me as a bit silly.

I have no idea who Marc’s sources are or even what he says. Whether he believes it or not, I haven’t been to his new premium site and no one has ever sent me a post from the new site. From time to time I hear rumors from there, but I usually do some checking and ignore them. It doesn’t surprise me that we often hear the same thing because WE ALL HEAR similar things. Most everyone who covers UK hears the same gossip….the difference is the real reporters can’t write rumors while I (and Marc) can. It is beyond arrogant to think u are the only person who knows something….but it seems to be a consistent theme. As one person around UK once told me “we talk to everyone…it just makes good sense.”

As for the news, I respect abd like Dave. In the same denial where he says he didn’t say it wasn’t Hamga, he says its bigger than Hamga. That doesn’t make sense to me.

  70. Joshoeuh Says:

Show me where I was whining, Rick. I’m intrigued now.

  71. SlickRick48 Says:

It would be much easier if all of your posts weren’t deleted Joshoeuh.

Matt, if you are going to delete my posts, then you should at least tell me why. Your site has no rules for posting that I can find, so I can’t be breaking them. If there are rules, point them out to me and that will suffice.

  73. Joshoeuh Says:

I’ll come back later to see where you pointed it out. It may be complicated for you to find, since my posts keep getting deleted.

Matt, you’re hilarious even when you’re not trying to be.

  74. SlickRick48 Says:

That one works just fine though.

  75. Joshoeuh Says:

That’s not whining, friend. That’s looking for an explanation, which I don’t expect to get.

Anyways, off I go. Have a nice day. I expect you’ll probably talk about how I couldn’t take the heat and ran, but in reality I am at work and have wasted enough time.

  76. SlickRick48 Says:

I’m at work too and I really appreciate you coming here. You’ve giving me something to do on an incredibly slow day. Regardless of if you think so, your posts sound like whining to me and likely a large number of other people on here.

  77. MRCCAT Says:

Matt Jones vs. Maggard….again. Two huge dorks trying to prove who has the better information. This is getting really old. Oh, by the way, I know that if I don’t want to read your posted info, opions, BS, then I should leave. I read occasionally, can’t stand your politics and knocking others who aren’t within your inner KSR nerd circle.

  78. Matt Jones Says:

Its not a dork war….on that regard, I am the clear winner

  79. SlickRick48 Says:

It seems like Beisner’s nerd fight rules have been ignored as of late. I haven’t heard much about bank accounts or threats of physical harm.

  80. overspeed Says:

Well said Matt. MRCCAT, as you said, you could just leave. (you and MM)

  81. high and mighty Says:

if Beaz frickin Hamga transfers here I will be pissed. what the hell would we need that guy for?

  82. overspeed Says:

81, I have to agree at this point. With what we have and what we have coming in I don’t think that we need him. BUT, if coach thinks that he has the ability to be a standout big then so be it. Remember that the odds of Patrick staying four years are slim, Orton may only stay a couple of years who knows, etc. What I would LOVE to see is a quality shooting guard land in our laps cause Jodie is a junior. And I know, Hood could and probably will play some “2″ but it is always nice to have more than one.

  83. krebscalledmeagirl Says:

Joshoeuh couldnt take the heat and ran

  84. ukfan2345 Says:

Its kinda hard to believe there was actually a time when Maggard used to be like by a vast majority of UK fans. The emergence of this successful FREE site is what has done him in. Judging by Maggard’s consistent animosity displayed whenever theres a clear misunderstanding, he is clearly jealous of Jones’ huge popularity among the UK fanbase. If Maggard chose to make his site free again, and stop the constant bitching and moaning then maybe he would gain favor among the fanbase which would gain himself some credibility.

  85. krebscalledmeagirl Says:

Does Maggard run that site for a living, or does he have another job?

  86. coolhandluke Says:

go dye your hair again marc you fag

  87. playerjoe1414 Says:

It sucks that someone gives Matt information, you know why it sucks because he doesn’t think about how it could go against UK and then he posts this to a bunch of people who don’t even care how recruiting works and in the long run this affects us. Matt you know you were probably emailed information from someone not even that you might have someone else on that site and they just forward you information. Pretty sad I think.

  88. goukcatsgo Says:

Its simple. Marc tries to make money off of his site. Jones might to an extent but he does it more for fun.

Maggard has a LOT to lose of there is a free source for uk information.

So he does two things. A. He tries to dis-credit jones and whines that matt steals his info. Of course this isn’t true and marc knows it.

    B. The practice that maggard uses that is the most unethical is his practice of claiming that “big news” is coming for the only purpose of getting more subscribers. As matt said, he always has an out, “it didn’t pan out”… Now it seems that marc has his minions doing his dirty work…

  89. soup Says:

Dorkfight? Get it straight. This is a nerd fight, baby! We got a couple of diaper dandies and maggard is Awesome with a capital A, baby! And Matt Jones is special, baby. He’s a PTPer. A prime time poster. He’s on my all Rolls-Royce team. Look for another dominating performance from the former Dukie, baby. He’s from Krzyzewskiville, baby! You gotta love Coach K, the hall of famer, Duke vs Carolina baby, its gonna be unbelievable with a capital UN, baby! I have the most awesome job in the world, I feel like I’m stealing, they pay me and my one good eye for doing this its unbelievable baby! Next time you are in Sarasota stop in at the Broken Egg with a capital B, baby! DUKE DUKE DUKE DUKE DUKE, baby!

  90. krebscalledmeagirl Says:

    89) hah….Ive actually met Dicky V at the Broken Egg in Siesta Key…hes a very nice guy…I also told him he needs to give UK some more love…he laughed

  91. Blue_Lawlz Says:

The one thing that grinds my gears about posters on forums and websites is their claim that they have a right to not have their posts deleted. WRONG. Freedom of speech doesn’t apply to privately owned websites such as this, it’s not a right you have by posting here that you can say whatever you want and not have it deleted, get that out of your head.

Also, saying your posts shouldn’t be deleted because you didn’t break any non-existent rules is playing the loophole game with a lawyer on his own website. YOU CAN’T WIN THAT FIGHT. So just accept that your stuff can be deleted for any reason that the administrators wish and cross your arms with a pout on your lips. Sheesh.

#87- you must be marc maggard. He’s the only person dumb enough to think that matt would post something that could hurt uk.

Maggard has a TON to lose if a free site gets as good or better (as jones does) information than maggard gets.

Why? Well, if somebody can get the better product for free then why pay frosty tips for the same or inferior information??? Marc will stop at no length in his goal of discrediting free sources of info.

And MM get a grip, fight fairly and accept defeat in a sportsmanlike manner. These were values that were taught to me. They make winning that much more enjoyable. Hard work, wisdom to learn from our mistakes, and the GRATITUDE to those who helped us pick ourselves and get back on the floor are what make a program WINNING.
(These lessons brought to you by my Father and Mother, coaches, teachers, friends and Ministers.)

I hadn’t read the comments in a while. I forgot all the components and intricacies that make a really good dork fight. However, this comments section has them all.

As a relatively new visitor to KSR and recently exposed to MM, I must say that Matt comes across as the better man. During the last MM / KSR incident (about Matt quoting MM), MM came across like a complete prick / tool. That was the first time I’d ever heard of MM. And I was not impressed. Honestly, I come here for the laughs and conversation, though. I’m perfectly content to wait until the “secret information” is in the paper.
